I. Key Points

Packaging Material Selection: Prefer composite films. Core requirements are barrier properties, strength, and safety. Common options include PA/PE, PET/PA/PE, and aluminum-plastic composite films, chosen to accommodate different specifications and storage needs.

Vacuum and Sealing Parameters: Vacuum level: -0.09MPa to -0.098MPa; Heat seal temperature: 160°C - 210°C; Dwell time: 0.5s - 2s; Evacuation time: 1s - 5s. Adjust based on package size.

Auxiliary Treatments: Can be paired with oxygen absorbers. Control rice moisture content to 13% - 14.5%. Conduct pre-packaging pest control treatment to ensure storage effectiveness.

Quality Control: Inspect rice quality and material performance before packaging. Conduct in-process checks for vacuum level and seal integrity. Finished products should be checked for appearance, net weight, and storage stability.

II. Packaging Machine Selection

Select equipment based on production scale and automation needs, as it directly impacts efficiency and packaging quality. Specific selections are as follows:

Small-Scale Equipment: Single-Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine: Compact and easy to operate. Suitable for 1kg - 5kg rice bags, with an hourly output of about 50-100 bags. Lower equipment cost, but requires manual placement of rice and packaging materials, resulting in lower production efficiency. Ideal for startups or small processing plants.

Medium-Scale Equipment: Double-Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine: Hourly output of about 200-400 bags, suitable for 1kg - 10kg rice. Still requires manual loading and unloading. Another option is the Roll-Scolling Vacuum Packaging Machine, which enables continuous operation with an hourly output of about 300-600 bags, suitable for larger 5kg - 25kg rice bags. This equipment can be equipped with automatic feeding systems, reducing manual labor and offering good packaging stability. These two types are common for small and medium-sized rice mills.

Large-Scale Equipment: Rotary Vacuum Packaging Machine: High packaging speed (e.g., 800-1500 bags per hour), neat and aesthetically pleasing packaging, suitable for large-volume production of uniform rice products (e.g., 5kg - 10kg family packs). Highly automated, with hourly outputs potentially exceeding 1000 bags. Suitable for large rice processing enterprises, enabling 24-hour continuous production.

III. Important Considerations

Allow rice to cool to room temperature before packaging. Choose packaging sizes appropriate for the target market. Store finished products in a cool, dry place. Perform regular maintenance on packaging equipment.

From a commercial perspective, vacuum packaging is an effective means to enhance the value of rice. Selecting the right vacuum packaging machine model based on one's production scale and budget is crucial.
